In Track the G9 Clip will outstand the performance of existing solutions in terms of elasticity and fatigue strength and lead to a highly available railway infrastructure. Due to its simplicity, it can reduce complexity and ease logistics for our customers.
Before market launch, the G9 Clip underwent extensive testing and initial field trials to validate its performance under real-world conditions. Thomas accompanied the G9 Clip from its initial concept through all phases of product development to its successful market introduction, playing a key role in bringing this innovation to life. These milestones highlight the innovative nature of the solution.
I actually have 2 highlights: When we produced the first prototype of the G9 Clip and realized how well our simulations and calculations match the physical test results. Secondly, the first installation in railway track regardless the heavy rain.

In May 2024, the first test installations of the G9 Clip took place in Austria. The installation was accompanied by extensive measurement technology to validate the fastening system’s performance under real-world conditions. The goal was to test the long-term load capacity, stability, and efficiency of the new solution. Initial results indicate promising performance, setting new standards for rail fastening systems.
